CMS card and write protect

This info is needed for a friend.

She has a CMS hard drive controller and wants to configure it to run a
20 meg drive for a //e. She has no documentation whatsoever. Can
anyone help out with jumper settings and any other pertinant
information?

The second question relates to hard drive write protection. I seem to
remember that there is 1 byte that turns on or off write protection.
Could someone please let me know the address of this byte and the
procedure to change it?
