I don't know what is the best in the shareware or freeware area.
Proterm seems to be one of the most popular commercial products. Call
Quality Computers 1-800-777-3642.  I don't know if there latest version
was written for the IIgs.  I use and like is Spectrum from  7Hills 904
575-0566.  The one irritation I have is that the emulation I use (vt100)
doesn't always rewrite the text below. Right now it looks like it has
overwritten my signature at the end, but when I go back to edit (on this
vi editor) it will be there.  But I still like it. --
