Didja ever take the drive apart? I had to when the power supply went. What you
find inside is a regular ol' Conner 20 mb SCSI drive mech. It's connected to
a great big PC board that does the conversion from protocol converter to SCSI.
I'd just bet that you could swap in any 3.5" low profile SCSI drive you wanted
in place of the one there.

I recall that Chinook had a deal where they would "downgrade" the drive to SCSI
for $50. Oh boy, pay them to take out the proprietary hardware that made the
thing cost so much and have them keep it and give you back a plain old SCSI
drive.
