Flight Simulator 1 and Flight Simulator 2.  They were actually made by
Sub-Logic, which was later partly acquired by Microsoft (this is only
part of the story, there was quite a bit of maneuvering, and even
lawsuits).

However, the one you're thinking of might be Jet, which was
definitely made by Microsoft.  It isn't bad, considering.
