It's made by Sublogic, actually (both FS1 and FS2). Microsoft may have
bought it from them and stuck their name on it, like they do so often.
The Sublogic version of FS2, at least, came with a couple of cool manuals
that taught me most of what I know about flight (the rest came from
"Night Mission", of course).
Using SHR to mean "single hi-res" may confuse some people (particularly
those desperate for any hint of a GS flight simulator).
