Does everyone live under a rock? Then again, I do! This is the Apple
II world, and letting people know about your software is getting more
difficult. Since I'm too cheap to buy stamps :), here are some of
the product descriptions from our last catalogue. If you want more
details, ask me, or ask for a free catalogue.
Programming Langauges and Utilities
-----------------------------------
Pegasus Pascal 2.1 - $50
The latest & fastest version with full order-of-operations (no more
Pragma PExpr): this required some major redesigning of the compiler.
Pre-compiling is about 10% faster (up to 60% for some programs).
This means, over large projects, using PP is only about 20% slower
than using ORCA/Pascal alone.
There are loop & subprogram exit statements...[deleted]...plus
the usual bug fixes & enhancements: INC/DEC are more powerful, hex
and binary constants and new operations are allowed in constant
expressions, and several restrictions have been removed.
For those who don't know, this is the best IIGS high-level language.
Pegasus Pascal is a pre-compiler: it translates its programs into
ORCA/Pascal (somewhat like MD-BASIC does for Applesoft). Although
not Pascal, it's based on Pascal, having all of ORCA/Pascal's commands
and additional ideas from newer languages like Modula-2, Turing Plus
and Ada. It has all the type-checking of Pascal (without the annoying
syntax errors Pascal is famous for), and easier to debug than C. It
even recognizes and overcomes spelling mistakes! We don't use ORCA
languages anymore. Up-to-date for System 6.0.1. Plus many more
features.
Comes on 2 disks.
Ask for one of our fliers for more details.
Requires ORCA/Pascal and doesn't work with Prizm.
DrawTools 3.2 (Tool098) - $40
Our best-selling program of all time. A graphics and animation toolset:
the same one we use with our entertainment software: palette and colour
manipulation, high-speed "pixies", fades, wipes, easy file I/O, game and
net drivers, all written in assembly language.
Comes on 2 disks with examples in Micol Adv. BASIC, Pegasus Pascal,
ORCA/Pascal, ORCA/M and Merlin. For us, it's indespensible.
