abject apology

to all and sundry who read and otherwise make use of comp.sys.apple2:

I owe you an apology most deep.  Last night, I was responding to a post
_I_ found objectionable, and mistakenly followed up the post with one of
my own, when I had intended to send my reply in e-mail.

As a result, I compounded the original poster's error with one of my 
own - much worse.  As Mr Kohn pointed out, Language such as I used really
has no need to be used here.

I assure you, one and all, that posting was not my intention, and I 
apologise as best I can.

Thank you for letting me take some of your time.
