Open up a Mac RGB monitor

Hallo,

I have here: A Mac 13" RGB monitor. It's kind of non-functional, so
I wanted to take a look inside. Here's the problem:

There are two screws at the bottom, but none at the top. I couldn't
figure out the way the backlid of the thing is held at the top, or
how to loosen it. Any pointers?

On the same issue: Does that monitor even support the whooping 17.5
(or was it 15.75?) kHz the GS generates? If not, I might as well
stop worrying about it right away.
