If the 13" is anything like the 14" then what you need to do press
down on part of the case (rear part) where they meet at the top.
There are two "latches" securing the case from the inside aprox 2"-3"
on each side. Pressing down and seperating the seam slightly will
reveal to you where those tricky plastic hooks are. Then once they
are released just slide back and it's open...
PS: that's aprox 6cm for you metric folks. ;)
