Re: MIDIsynth to MIDI

Brett Edwards
(bedwards@arthur.st.nepean.uws.edu.au) screamed from comp.sys.apple2:
: Does anybody know of a program which will convert a Midisynth
: sequence into the midi standard data format, so that i can transfer
: these sequences to a pc. If so where can i get it.

Music Composer 2.2 exports MIDI Type1 files, and I have successfully ported
Auri's MIDISynth "remix" of the Star Wars music from the GS to Performer 3.0
on the Mac in the SVA Audio Post room, so it CAN be done (just expect to
change the filetype to "Midi" (CASE SENS) if it's going to the Mac).
No channel info will be saved, so take good notes on what is on what track.

It was posted to cba2 a few weeks ago. Someone else can tell you where it's
archived, and what other sites have it via FTP since I don't have a clue
where it is now...
