Actually, from what I just heard (shortly after posting my original
message), an Apple IIgs port of "Castle Wolfenstein 3D" not only exists, but
was fully completed! Unfortunately, there seems to be some legal problems with
ID Software licensing this IIgs port. I did mail back John Carmack asking
about this, but he denied they were blocking any ports from being done. Also
mentioned licensing would be in the $10k range (as a minimum) if someone wanted
to publish their IIgs port. Questioning whether or not a port is technically
feasible is one thing, but when one has already been completed and just sitting
one someone's shelf...that kind of annoys me. :/
