This plugs into the Apple internal 16 pin game port. Its towards the back of
the case, on the right hand side.
I'm not sure if you'd be able to adapt it to another computer, because the way
that the Apple II (any Apple II) reads the paddle controls (or X/Y on the pad
is fairly specific. It involves using a 555 timer (4 of them in a 558 package.)
The resistors in the paddle circuits form part of a timing circuit, and the
reading of the paddle position is simply the time read by the 555. IBM's use a
similar circuit I think, so you could _try_ to hook it up to one of them. I
havn't got my II manual with me right now, but I'll try to get the pinouts
posted soon, if noone else does.
