(SUMMARY) 12MHz ZipGS on ROM 01

As promised, here is the result of my original question (how stable
is a ROM 01 IIgs at 12 MHz and how long before it fails?) :

About six people replied:

	One had no problems.

One had no problems after he reduced the cache from 64k to 32k

The other four had flakiness pretty bad. What is "pretty bad"?
Random crashes between once every few hours to once every few
days. If you don't mind this then it's fine, but I prefer a
	stable platform.

Recommendation: Behavior on the ROM 01 seems to be very dependant on
the specific motherboard. If you can afford to try it out
(US$50 for the 12MHz '816, up to US$50 for faster SRAM), then
do so. Just be aware that it might not work ...

Driving the board at 10MHz doesn't seem to be a problem, but
the improvement might not be worth the cost (depending on
	your current speed).

Thanks to _almost_ everyone who responded to my question.

[Say ... how about that S/N ratio on the original thread? :( ]
