Well, let's see. I have a copy of a Dr. Tom sector edited version of Music
Construction Set, renamed "DMCS" for Deluxe Music Construction Set. It was
released as "freeware" in 1993 by Dr. Tom claiming that he had improved the
sound. I used Prosel to compare Dr. Tom's DMCS with Will Harveys MCS and
the files are identical except for a few bytes that had been sector edited
(obviously the "about" text). This "DMCS" also claims to run under the
Dr. Tom "copyrighted" FREEOS operating system. FREEOS has the same number
of characters in it's title as PRODOS. Coincidence? I think not.
I also have a version of Tetris Sector edited by Dr. Tom. He modified the
copyright notice: Here's the original...

Sean B. Barger

Apple GSOS Graphic Design by

Other than this small difference, the files are identical.
Don't forget about Omnipaint, the Dr. Tom version of Platinum Paint.
There was also a Dr. Tom version of DiversiTune floating around tho I
can't remember what he called it.
Hope this is what you asked for....
