AppleTalk ImageWriter II and Print Shop GS

I have an AppleTalk (LocalTalk) network with an ImageWriter II connected to
it.  Seems like Print Show GS will not print to an IWII over AppleTalk,
although it prints to it fine via the serial port.  Is this a limitation
of the printer drivers used in Print Shop GS?  (I assume that PSGS uses
the printer port directly as a serial port and cannot handle printing
to an ATalk IWII through Slot 7.  Is this true?)

If anyone has any experience with this problem, or has come up with a
clever
way to solve it, please let me know.
