There is this hazy (IMHO) concept called "compilation rights". That
is, I cannot download files off GEnie wholesale and make the same bunch
of files available elsewhere. I personally cannot see how this can
possibly be enforced, but there you have it.

Since I'm responsible for compiling the Usenet digests for GEnie and
for anything Internet-related in the A2 and A2Pro Roundtables, I can
tell you that I will *not* be doing a mass transfer of GEnie's Apple II
libraries (which are indeed substantial) to FTP sites. However, I see
no problem with making available some of the more useful utilities that
appear from time to time in the A2 and A2Pro libraries. Check the
io.org Apple II FTP site for the latest.
