Thanks for confirming that waveLAB on cco is indeed corrupt.
In a way, that brings up a question, having nothing to do with waveLAB.
I'm using the exact same cable with my LineLink 14.4 as I did with my
(old and now obsolete) 2400. With zero problems. Part of me is
sceptical, and wonder if I can use a non-hardware handshaking cable, if
the "word" that you need one to go 14.4 is just a load of hooey?
Is anyone else using an old non-hardware handshaking cable with
another brand 14.4 modem with success. Send emails, the more the better,
if you also use a non-hardware handshaking cable on a high speed modem.
Send email either way if you're using a 14.4. In a couple of days,
I'll post the results.
Should prove interesting.
