I'm posting this for the unnamed person who posted this joke.  She thought
it was funny at the moment but she didn't realize what she had done.  This
and all other newsgroups are carefully monitored by the CIA.  Shortly
after this message was posted the CIA tracked down the school where it
originated from then narrowed down the dorm from where it was posted
from (using slip client as to get away with the fake name).  They closed
her account and even went as far as requesting the school administration
to temporarily shut down the school's computer.  She's under custody and
being charged with impersonating a high ranking government official,
interstate email fraud and whatever else they can slam on her.  They are
making an example out of her so this would never happen again.  What's
sad is that she didn't realize this would affect us also.  The CIA guys
are working on restricting posts to this newsgroup for the rest of month
beginning midnight.  They are doing this to prevent the message
(evidence) from being deleted as new messages are added.  This is just
part of their investigation procedure.  They assured me that this
newsgroup will not be removed but that posts to this newsgroup will be
restricted for at least a month even though the investigation will be
over in a week or two.  

SO BEGINNING MIDNIGHT (EST) YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO POST TO
COMP.SYS.APPLE2 BUT YOU MAY READ OLD POSTS.

The other comp.sys.apple2.* newgroups won't be affected so we can post
on there.  For all of you out there, I hope you learn from her mistake
and take a moment to think about what you're about to do before hitting
that RETURN key.
