Eric,
I believe that your 2400 baud modem will work with the //c provided
1) You don't have one of those extremely old motherboard that cannot
work > 1200 BAUD [someone else will have to tell you how to determine if
you have that model & if it still will be upgrade for free]
and of course the modem is external.
ProTerm will work on a //c and offers VT100 emulation (in fact that is what
I am using now).
