Need info on Apple II europlus

I found a working Apple II europlus computer in the trashcan last Sunday.
I have read the FAQ, but it doesn't mention this particular model. I
borrowed two disk drives and a monitor from a pal, and we got it set
up and running in a minute. So I'd like some info on this model. I'd
like to know if the moderboard is Version 1 or the older version 0
(which has only 4 colour graphics, and some other minor quirks).
I have a book according to which version 0 motherboards lack a certain
extra video connector near the video level potentiometer in the top
right corner of the motherboard. My machine does not seem to have this.
On the other hand, the manual says that euroapple's have 50Hz CCIR
video, which is activated by cutting two solder bridges ( they are
X -shaped, you cut through the middle of the X to open the circuit)
and soldering three O-joints (??). These are located two the right
of the RAM-chips. My board has these X:s (cut) and these are not supposed
to be present on the Version 0 motherboard.

Now some other info: The name on the case cover says "Apple II europlus",
the word "europlus" is in small green letters under the "Apple II"-text.
The keyboard is old AppleII-style, dark brown keys, and no reset key!!
Isn't one supposed to be in the top right corner? How do I reset this
machine without turning the power off ?

Inside the eight topmost RAM-sockets are empty. The other two rows are
populated by 4116-chips (16 kbit RAMS ??) and a few other chips which
have a different part number (5....). I can't get most of the software
to run ( I have Lode Runner, Jumpman, other classic games). Is this because
I don't have enough memory?

When brought the machine home from the trashcan and opened the cover I
found a little box loose inside. It was connected to one of those 4-pin
video connectors near the external video connector. It had been glued to
the right wall of the case, but either the joint broke or the owner
ripped it out. The box is actually a small PCB with a few resistors, a
220 ohm potentiometer, and RCA connector and a metallic box on it.
The text on the metallic box says "SUP 'R' MOD II Ch. 33 TV INTERFACE
UNIT BLACK & WHITE OR COLOR, M & R ENTERPRISES, SUNNYVALE CA 94088".
This metal box has an additional RCA-plug. I showed it to my friend
and he had never seen one before. I haven't tried to connect it to
my TV yet and I don't know if I should.

I'm actually pretty excited about my discovery. I used to have a C=64
and wrote some assembly language programmes for it. I'm typing this
on my Amiga, the green cursor of the Apple blinking next to me. I only
wish I could play a game of Lode Runner or Droll on the Apple. Now
we have Doom etc., but they just ain't the same....
