I've never had such a problem with my ComputerEyes GS (rev.f)
board, but maybe a brief run-down of what your system consists of might
help. According to Quality Computers, there's a conflict between the
digitizer and accelerators. A small note under the Ad for Computer Eyes
reads as follows: "* If using and(sic) accelerator and System 6, accelerator
must be disconnected in order to work." -- BTW, could someone out there
verify whether or not this is true? I'll soon have a ZipGS installed in
my system and would be running CE's software under System 6.

Try re-configuring the software and check that the card
and video-source are connected properly (It always gives an error
message if a video source isn't connected or not feeding a single).
There were a couple of versions of "ComputerEyes" digitizing
software written. Basically in two flavors: one with an ASCII-text
interface based on AppleWorks Classic (very old), and a newer GS/OS
desktop based version with pull-down menus, windows, etc. Digital
Vision is still around and supporting ComputerEyes GS. I'm not sure,
but version 3.xx is probably the lastest version to date. You can order
the lastest software-update by calling, faxing, or writing to them (I've
been meaning to call and get the update myself actually! :) If you still
can't get the card working, I'll post up DV's number and address.
