This aspect was the intent behind my Software Development Summary (posted
to comp.sys.apple2.programmer). However, there does not seem to be much
interest in it; I _know_ that there are more people working on programs
than have made submissions. Assuming it is updated monthly, is this a
useful idea?
On the main subject of extending the system: It sounds good, but we would
have our work cut out for us ... I think that most people doing this as a
want to program, not plan. Self-defeating, I know, but likely.
Any concrete suggestions about how something like this could work?

Someone (Dave Tribby?) wrote a beta version of Arc3DLib. It's not
exactly a Tool, but the code is there. This stuff is _fast_.
