Wow.... someone else who knows about Eclipse. At least enough to know what is
going on....

Anyway, yes, if you have a printer driver installed, make sure that the
printer is turned on and online.

If that doesn't help, try installing the NULL printer, modem and clock drivers
and the TEXT screen driver. You should also specify KEEPCARRIER = YES,
otherwise the system will exit straight away because it thinks that nobody
is online.

If you still have troubles, I'd suggest to wait until Eclipse v1.08f is
released in the next couple of weeks. I will be testing it on a //c before
release.
