Help Daisy chaining 10 meg siders!

Hi all:

I have a question about daisy chaining two sider 10 meg hard drives 
together.  I just purchased two drives off the net.  The drives work
fine independantly. Both formatted by themselves (attached separately)
they also formatted fine linked together.  I have moved the ID jumper
block on the second drive per the suggestion of a fella at
Omnishore electronics tech support.  When the drives areconnected tother,
they will not boot.   Pressing control reset results in getting dumped
into the monitor.  occasionally the second drive light will start
flashing and the head is moving... then I can pr#7 and get the first 
drive to boot.  as soon as the second drive stops flashing, (30-40 sec.)
I loose access to the first drive.   Runnig the diagnostics independantly
with each drive connected separately results in both drives testing fine.  Con

connected together, they do not test and return a variety of error codes
includeing ones not in the manual.


If anyone has any experience using these drives please drop me a line
I am at my wits end with this!
