Broderbund Science Toolkit parts?

	Today I picked up an Intellivision II from a thrift shop, and
plugged into the RF out was not an RF cable.

	It's a 3.5 inch wand with some sort of electrode(?) at the end
of it, there's a four foot long cable with an RCA plug at the other
end (with which it was attached to the Intellivision)  It looks like
this... (really it does. =^)

	And the face of it looks roughly like this, with a diameter
of just over a quarter inch.

	My only speculation was that it's from Broderbund's Science
Toolkit.  Is it?  and what is it's function?

	...and while I'm asking, is there any interesting use for
the Interface box other than for the Toolkit? (I saw the box at
the thrift shop too)
