I'm not familiar with the GS version, but the Big Blue version
had a setting for the keyboard speed...the effective words per minute
you wanted to type...which you adjust in the setup stages of using
the program.  That way you could keep the program from hanging or
lagging so far behind when you were whizzing along at about 100wpm
(which used to be the standard entry rate for secretaries when I
worked in aerospace...without mistakes, too, for the outgoing
letters on letterhead had to be perfect).
Anyway, look over your setup for the program.
