HWHS cable from Quality Computers...

I just recently discovered Quality Computers carries
hardware handshaking cables (8pin-miniDIN-to-DB25). This is the
cable required to use high-speed modems on an Apple IIgs, as
well, I've heard, connect an ImageWriter II printer to an IBM PC.
When I called up a QC representative, I was told they also sell
this cable as a Macintosh modem-cable, and there's _no_ difference
between a "Mac" and "IIgs" HWHS cable...

So, before I order one from QC:

A) Do these cables have the correct pinouts for using a GS with a 14.4k
modem? (ie - the same pinouts Alltech or InSync Software sells for the
   IIgs).

B) Does this cable (from QC) have the correct pinouts to make an
ImageWriter II printer work on a 486dx-33 clone?

..I need this cable to use with a 14.4k modem on my two IIGSes, as
well as connecting it to an ImageWriter II on an IBM 486. Can someone
tell me if this cable will do the trick? I'd just like to verify this
before rushing out and buying it. I may be wrong, but I could have
sworn someone telling me the pinouts were slightly different on a Mac
HWHS cable....
