I am also interested in this problem. Is it possible to attach either
a 5.25" Disk II with controller card or 5.25" IIc disk drive to a Mac
(in my case, a Quadra 610)?

Our AppleWorks data is based on ProDOS, of course, so I am not worried
about the data conversion since it will be imported into ClarisWorks.

I do not have access to a 3.5" drive for the Apple IIs (an old IIc and a II+).
So I cannot copy the data from 5.25" floppies to 3.5" floppies and simply
insert the latter into the Mac.

I am intrigued by how the null modem cable works. Any explanation of what
hardware and software is required and the method would be appreciated.

I just wished it would be a simple matter of attaching one Apple disk drive
(Disk II or IIc) to one Apple computer (Mac)!

	Thanks in advance.
