Gee, that sounds familiar :) That's almost exactly what I'm doing, except
I keep the drives on the pus, and access them over personal file sharing.
That way, the mac can keep the drives optimized in the background with
DiskExpress II. Other than that, it makes a nice calculator... One word
of advice though, if you are going to do this, don't use a mac pus, it
makes a lousy file server, and can't handle a 1:1 interleave. Get an
se, or preferably and se/30.
