Ok..You are entitled to your opinion..now here is mine. I want to know
about _everything_ that is available for the Apple II, and what better
place than this? I would rather read advertising blurbs than the
periodic flame wars that we get here. At least they are educational!

Just about anyone can set up an alt. group...just look at what is out
there! Comp.sys.apple2.gno is brain-dead!! Heh..there is very little
fluff there.  Good solid information is about all you will see on that
group.

No offense, but if people like you have their way, their will be
_nothing_ but fluff on this group!
