This has been a major pain. drwm1.10b18 off ccosun.caltech.edu has a 
temporary fix; there's a run queue item that updates the icons every half 
seecond, but it overwrites everything, so that isn't really a solution.

I hate hierarchial menus :) and people shouldn't have to have a separate 
init just to run drwm. I don't really understand what you mean in 
suggestion a... and, if you want winflate, use winflate. If you want 
Iconify, use drwm.

Program launcher, maybe. Application switcher, no.
