I had the same problem ONCE on my GS.... you failed to mention, or i failed
to see it, what kinda SCSI card are you using??? if your using a CMS SCSI card
forget it, you'll never see the other partitions, using plain prodos... 

I had to to find this out the hard way, what i ended up doing was getting a 
Apple HS from my local dealer and now i can read all partitions 
(2 80 meg harddrives)
which has a total of 6 partitions, using any program...
