With all this talk about the 'TypeWriter mode of operation. Has
anybody looked at how Appleworks does it? They do have an input from
keyboard mode.

It seems to me that I have done a pr#1 and typed directly from the
keyboard to the printer. I suppose the object here is to tee the
output to the printer _and_ the screen :)
