A DeskJet 500 has both serial and parallel ports; I don't know about
the other models. If you get one with only a parallel port, you will need a
parallel-serial converter. Orange Micro made one (and may still make it)
called the Grappler C/Mac/GS; Quality Computers might carry it, or you can
check c.s.a2.marketplace.
