DeskJet on IIC+

Is it possible to connect a DeskJet to an Apple IIC+?  There is a nice 
offer in a newspaper, and if this is relatively easy to do, I'd like to 
buy it for my dad.  I assume that the DeskJet only has a parallel port.  
Do I need a serial to parallel converter for the IIC+?  Will any mac 
adapter do, since the IIc+ uses the mini-din-8 ports?  Anyone have a 
suggestion for a product/retailer?  (Or could anyone confirm that the 
Deskjet has a serial port)
