I'm thinking of getting a modem (preferably fax & data) for my  
father-in-law and his Apple IIGS.  I spotted a cheapo 2400/9600 data/fax  
modem ($50) at the store.  I assume any standard modem would be fine.

The next problem is software.  Any clues?  Tips?  Suggestions?

I'd like to get him setup to do some modeming, faxing, maybe on-line  
services, e-mail.

Can anyone help?
