IIGS to Mac link. Need help.

I have a IIGS with AppleworksGS next to a Mac IIvx running Clarisworks. The
latter has a translator for AWGS files. How can I inexpensively network these
two machines so I can exchange word processing files. Both have lots of RAM
and the IIgs has a ZIP accelerator. Mac has a high speed modem and StylewriterII
via respective ports. IIgs has Imagewriter II via printer port. (no hard drive
if that makes any difference) Currently running Sys.6. on IIGS and 7 on Mac,
