RAMFast Troubles

Hello all!

I have recently started having troube with my RAMFast. Its the 256K
model. Here is what it does/doesn't do:

First of all know this: I have a 80MB harddrive and a floptical drive
connected to the RAMFast. The 80MB drive has 3 partitions, 32MB, 32MB
and a 17MB.

There seems to be an 'extra' volume listed when I go into the RAMFast
utilities. This volume, called CVTECH.ID1.A, is not really there. What
is happening is this. Everytime I turn my IIGS off, the boot volume is
set to this 'false volume' and also the three partitions of my 80MB
harddrive are set to inactive.
so that when I turn my IIGS back on, it
tries to boot from a volume that is not there and will just sit at the
screen that says "Apple IIGS" with the ROM version and dates stuff.
Thats all! Will not go into the RAMFast Utils or give me a prodos
not found error or anything. What I have to do is boot off another
drive, go into the RAMFast utils, which i luckily have on another disk,
and go into SYSUTILS and set the three partitions back to ACTIVE and
change the Boot volume to the boot partition of my 80MB harddrive and
reboot. Then all is well, untill I turn the machine off again. Once
the power goes off everything get changed right back, ie...The false
volume get to be the boot volume, and the 3 partitions get set to
inactive.

What is going on? It is starting to bug me extremely bad.

One last piece of info to know. This all started after I used the
RamFast utils to format and partition a floptical disk a few nights
ago.

Thanks for any help. I really appreciate it.
