There are other reasons to use HCGS.  I bought it because, although HS has a
scripting language, the language for HCGS is *vastly* more powerful.  With
HCGS you can do high-powered math, heavy string manipulation, and much more.
My first stack was a family tree stack that is completely automatic - you never
add a card manually.  The stack adds cards for new people, keeps track of
people's ID numbers, navigates among cards, connects children to both of their
parents, displays 320-mode or 640-mode pictures of people, and more.  It also
provides complete online usage instructions and help - there is no printed
manual.  There was no way HS could have done all the things my HCGS stack does
easily.

The stack in question is available for download from GravenStein or AOL; its
name is HyperFamily, and it's shareware.
