GS/OS sys 6 on a floppy?

I'm new to the GS, so please excuse if this is a dumb question.  I just got
a IIgs ROM 03, no extra memory and no hard drive; two 720K 3.5" drives.

I want to run Appleworks GS 1.1.

It came with system 5, but I have a copy of 6.  But is it possible to set
up a system 6 startup disk with the necessary fonts on it?  Can anyone tell
me what I'm allowed to remove from a standard system disk in order to fit
some fonts on?  (even just the basic set would be nice)

Is there any chance of fitting the HFS FST on?

Or should I just deal with system 5?
