I have a manual, but don't think I have a card to go with it.

They did release a card called the "Apple II Serial Interface Card".
Again, I have the manual (from a Taiwanese clone) but no card.

According to the manual, it doesn't have an ACIA at all - it does all
serial<->parallel conversion and timing in software. I can't follow
the circuit too well - it is a rather bad copy of an Apple manual.

The only chips it mentions are a couple of PROMs, a 74LS365 (hex
three-state bus driver), 74LS109 (dual J-K flip-flop), 74LS125 (quad
three-state bus driver) and lots of transistors, diodes and resistors.
The picture of the card agrees with this.
