For *MOST* 5.25" infocom games you can extract the data file w/ infosnarf.
Note that I've only managed to do this w/ the single sided games...Beauracracy
and AMFV don't seem to work so well. The docs for infosnarf also include a
text file describing how to deprotect the games so you can extract them.
Infosnarf (included in the InfocomPro package) is on FTP at cco or grind,
I'd imagine.
