My Monitor is <insert swear words here> messed up

Well, I recently went to turn on my computer to be blessed with a
"blue" screen.  For about the first 3-5 seconds after I turn the
monitor on, you can see the normal GS screen as if you were looking
through a filter that colors everything blue.  Apparently this is what
happens when the blue peaking coil shorts.  I am looking for a text
file that tells how to fix this.  (I was told there might be one
floating around somewhere)

	I would really appreciate if someone could e-mail me such a
file if they have one since I can't use my GS right now :(
