According to every illustration I have (and soe small experience), the
resister packs are strips of (usually) yellow plastic dipped thingies.
They should be about a centimeter from the 50 SCSI connector, parallel
to that end of the drive - at least on 3.5" drives like the 157N. If
they aren't there, there should be a set of holes to receive them.
... hmmm... if memory serves, there should be three sets of 8 holes if
the packs are not installed... holes all lined up in one line across the
board.
what _I_ need is a way to install an 80Meg MFM into an old ProFile
case.. anybody know if the controller can handle the size? (then I need
a special cable (pin type to tab type)
