     I still use my Rev.C SCSI card with great success, though it
is pretty slow (2 minutes to boot System 6 with all my sounds and
stuff).  I also run an old external CD-ROM drive fine with Apple's
HS (high sierra) driver.
     The Rev.C is still a good piece of equipment.  If you can get
it for $35 (with disk & docs) then it's great deal.  You said it
includes a cable, which is normally $12-$20, so maybe $50 is worth
it, but consider that a NEW Ramfast is $140.
    As for Apple's High-Speed card, it's faster (if you can use
the DMA) but at $110 I don't think you get that many improvements.

    My recommendation:  See if you can get the Rev.C for $35 or
$40, otherwise consider a new RAMfast.
