Landscape mode word processing

I would like to type some text on a page in landscape mode on a IIGS.
(11 x 8.5, instead of the usual 8.5 x 11 portrait orientation).  My
choices are Beaglewrite GS, Shadowwrite, EGOEd or EgoEdLite, or Teach.
After setting page setup to landscape, how do I get the rulers to
go to 11" rather than 8.5".  Am I missing something, or do I need to use
Word on my paperweight MacLC - hey, its my Appleshare 3.0 server so I
can justify its existance.  I just prefer not to use it :-)
