Can you outline the complete setup you're using to print with your IW2 and
Windows v3.1? I have installed the C.Itoh 8510 drivers on my system, and
have _NOT_ been able to print anything recognizable. I have connected it
using the following "Rube Goldberg" cable configuration:
Com1 -> DB-9/DB-25 cable -> gender converter -> SuperSerial to IW2 cable ->
into the Imagewriter II. I have also put a null modem adapter in between
the gender converter and SSC to IW2 cable, which effectively eliminates any
printing from coming through. I did just get a cable pin-out from AOL last
night, which I am willing to have made into a custom cable. What am I
missing or doing wrong?
Thanks!
