I believe so....they used a Roland of some type, I think a D-50.  I have a
guitar I sampled that was playing a D that's in very nice tune.  Just so long
as the sample rate = the right note (I have a chart someplace I can post that
shows the exact sample rate for every note in soundsmith :)

Hehehehe.  Transposition sucks (I did it when I stole a not-tuned-right
instrument from some game...you can hear the results in NTGS 1.1's intromusic
