Mac-GS conversions

I have an old Apple IIc, thought I haven't touched it in a while since I
got my Mac, so I'm not unfamiliar with the working of it. The problem is
that a friend of mine with an Apple IIgs, who has no access to internet,
asked me to see if I could get some games for her. I know about the umich
apple2 achive and I've seen that I need to use binscii and shrinkit
(analogous to BinHex and Stuffit for the mac) to use the files. Is there
any way I can do the binscii and shrinkit on the mac because she's not real
computer-literate and I'm sure it will confuse her?
I know I can use apple file exchange to format a ProDos disk and write the
files on a disk she can use, but I can't use my IIc because it only has a 5
1/4 in disk drive and the Mac I'm downloading with only has a 3.5 in disk
drive.

Thanks ahead of time

BTW e-mail response would be preferable since I do not read this newsgroup
very often.
