SCSI Card Question for IIgs

I was wondering if anyone out there could help me with this. I have just
finally bought myself a hard drive for my IIgs and I was wondering if it
was okay to put the Apple High Speed SCSI Card in slot 7, because if I do
it touches my GS-Ram card in the memory slot. Could this be a problem?
Right now I have just put the card into slot 2. It works fine there, but
does that mean I will never have acess to slot 7. If anyone could help it
will be greatly appreciated.
